If you’re like me, I was beyond excited to start decorating my dorm room.
After long nights on Pinterest creating inspo boards, and scouring the internet for the best deals, it all paid off when I was able to put my room together!
Listed below are pieces that I used in my room to achieve the boho look. I LOVE incorporating different colors and layering with different textures! Not only were these pieces reasonably priced, they gave me the boho look that I desired!

1. White Bedding

Investing in a good, comfy bedding is worth it! You are spending countless hours in your dorm room, and most of that time in your bed.
Having a white bed gives a crisp look and will brighten the room. With texture on the bedding, it gives a more relaxed look that is perfect for layering!
Comforters are great, but if you prefer duvet covers, I have linked some below as well.
2. Woven Rug

Adding in natural elements like a woven rug is perfect for a boho space. Incorporating warm tones like shades of tan, brown, or orange will bring coziness to the space as well.
Layering different rugs to make a bigger rug is also an option that is very unique and stylish.
3. Woven Basket Wall Hangings

This trend is so cute and unique! Combining the different textures from the baskets give you a raw look that brings attention to your walls, in a good way of course.
They are affordable and easy to apply to the walls, all you need is command strips.
These baskets can be found at thrift stores, Hobby Lobby, or Amazon! Let your creativity flow!
4. Plants

Adding real or fake plants will bring color and life to your dorm. The boho aesthetic is all about a natural color pallet, and the features of plants bring that boho look together.
Low maintenance plants like succulents or cacti are perfect for those who don’t have a green thumb but want real plants. Of course another option is purchasing the fake ones already in vases.
You can spice things up by hanging your plants with macrame.
5. Hanging Lights

Make your room feel dreamy by adding lights on the walls.
You can find them on Amazon, and hang them with command hooks.
6. Gold Accent Decor

Gold accent decor is how you can pull your room all together. With the right dainty, gold pieces you can dress up the look.
Some examples of things to look for are picture frames, wall hanging mirrors, and vases! Even simple and practical things like gold jewelry stands and dishes.
